What a Great Trip!

Even before Wes and I started our own small group, we used to go on annual trips with our old small group. There is just no better way to grow as a group than to go off for a weekend with everyone. Therefore, when we started our own small group we continued the tradition. This year we decided to go to Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina. A couple in our group love to camp and hike, so that is exactly what we did. We stayed at the Davidson River Campground right outside the town of Brevard, NC. We stayed in tents and didn't have access to any technology (tv's, computers, etc.) but we did have bathrooms and showers. Not being around a bunch of distractions was awesome and truly gave us the opportunity to fellowship and grow together. We had a great time...from hanging out at the camp site eating and playing games to hiking over five miles in the mountains. What a wonderful weekend, thanks again for making this such a wonderful trip everyone.
