Pumpkins, Pumpkins, & More Pumpkins

Hooray for the Pumpkin Patch!! Today we invited Gramme and Paw Paw Norm to go to Boone Hall Farms Pumpkin Patch. Malia had a great time checking out all the displays and pumpkins. However, her favorite thing was to run around play with other kids. I swear our child is a social butterfly.

She loved the little pumpkins

Daddy, I think this one is perfect!

heehee, we couldn't help it

Is it weird that our child loved this guy?

Yum, candy corn! Thanks Gramme.

Thanks Gramme and Paw Paw Norm for going to the Pumpkin Patch with us!!

Malia's 1st College Football Game

This past weekend, we attended the Citadel verses Furman College football game. Malia was amazed with the scenery and the loud music. She never stopped moving or dancing. Upon walking in to the suite, she found a stuffed Citadel teddy bear. That poor bear never left her side. The owner thought it was so cute that he gave Malia the teddy bear. She has carried it all over the house this weekend. So cute!
Our 1st College Football game as a family!

16...already?

Wow, Malia is already 16 months old. Geez..I can't believe it. Anyhow, she is a crazy toddler. To say she is on the go would be an understatement. It is a workout just trying to keep up with her. She loves to play outside, talks non-stop, loves to wrestle, and can entertain herself for hours. This past month, she spent some fun family time with her two cousins in North Carolina at Maya's birthday party. It was so much fun to watch the three girls interact, we can't wait for Thanksgiving. Earlier this month I took my entire 6th grade volleyball team to a College of Charleston volleyball game and invited Gramme and Malia. She thought it was pretty awesome. She loved the announcer and the loud music. A few weeks ago, Gramme and Paw Paw Norm took her to see Imagination Movers. From the pictures I saw, it looked like she had an absolute ball. This past weekend we attended our first College Football Game, Citadel vs. Furman and then we stayed over night with our friends out in the country. Another blog will follow. :)
This month has been crazy busy for us....seems like every week and weekend we have something going on. We are looking forward to some relaxation and down time next month.

We hope you all are doing well!

Fish Every Where!!!

So today, Wes decided that he wanted to take Malia and I to his new "honey hole" pond that he found a few weeks ago. As you all know, my husband loves to scout out new fishing ponds on his lunch break. So today was the day...the sun was shining, birds were chirping, and the fish were biting. As we were in route to this "honey hole", all Wes would tell me is that I was going to love it. I had no idea where we were going or what we were even fishing for. However, when we stopped off at the grocery store and he purchased chicken liver...I knew they had to be big. So anyhow, here are some pictures of our awesome afternoon.

1st Catch of the day

My 1st Catch...6 pounder!

Ooh, this one is fiesty!

All that work just for a bream.

Can you say....catfish!

Poor Angel fell asleep on the way and slept for almost the first two hours of our fishing outing.

Chicken Liver...gross, but catfish LOVE it.

Love this part.

Hello Mr. Catfish.

Yay, she is awake!!

So brave when they are young.

Mommy and daughter fishing it up.

The BIGGEST one of the day!!! So big our scale wouldn't fit, so we can only guess how big he was. (I say 10 pounds...but that might be a fish tale) :)
This fella almost took Wes's thumb off...he wasn't too happy being caught!

Lunch time!

Daddy and baby girl, so Sweet!

Below is a short video of us in action.

What a wonderful afternoon...thank you honey!!
