Lovin' Spring Break!!

What a great week we have had! Malia and I were able to relax some and get out and be adventurous as well. This spring break has been a great opportunity for Malia and I to have some mommy and daughter time, but it has also allowed me to catch up with some old friends too. I am sad I have to go back to work, but am truly looking forward to summer! It will be here before I know it.

What a FUN few weeks!!

The last couple of weeks have been BIG for the Koch family. Last weekend Gramme took Malia to the Cole's Brothers Circus. To my surprise Malia actually got on a Pony and enjoyed it. The older she gets the braver she gets. Click on the picture below to see more from this fun day!

So a few weeks ago, I realized that the Mickey Mouse Rockin' Road Show came to Charleston and I didn't find out in time to take Malia. I was very disappointed because Malia LOVES the Mickey Mouse Club House. But Aunt Liz was quick and figured out that the show was going to be in Greensboro the same weekend we were going to be in North Carolina for Easter. So us ladies decided to have a girls day out and leave the boys behind. All three girls were so excited as we entered and wanted just about every type of souvenir they came across. The show was great and the girls enjoyed it. With the exception, that Malia got frustrated that she couldn't go up to the stage when they blew bubbles out in to the crowd. See at home, daddy and I like to blow bubbles and then watch Malia run around and try to pop them all. So you could imagine her frustration when mommy said no. It was not a pretty sight, thank goodness it was loud in the arena. Check out all the photos below, by clicking on the picture.

Easter weekend was filled with a ton of fun events. The first thing we did was go to a park that was hosting a charitable event. They had jump castles, slides, live Christian music, play areas, and a huge Easter Egg hunt. We decided to skip the Easter Egg hunt, we figured Maya and Malia would just get trampled and it would be more fun to have one at the house any how. Later that evening, we colored Easter eggs and had our big Easter dinner. We had the entire family over and got to see Aunt Penny and Uncle Johnny. There is only one word needed to sum up Easter dinner...DELICIOUS!!! The next day we got the girls dressed and headed off to church. After church the girls went down for a nap while me and the guys played some golf (by the way I shot an 88...my second best score ever!). Later we had our Easter egg hunt in the back yard. I was really surprised as to how well Malia did in picking up the eggs and putting them in her basket. Click on the picture below to see all of the fun festivities.

Easter 2010 in NC

Below are some pictures of Malia at 21 months. I am so blown away by how fast she is growing up, to think that in a few months she will be 2 is sad. Don't get me wrong, watching her grow up is amazing, but I just wish I could slow down the time. I always thought people were crazy when they say "it just keeps getting better and better". They so are right! I have loved every stage and just when I think it can't get better it does. Wes and I are truly Blessed to have such a bright, loving, funny, and carefree spirited girl. We couldn't imagine life without her! Click on the picture to see more of our sweet baby girl.
