He Actually Tied the Knot...

My brother's good friend Sean Cunningham has once and for all settled down and tied the knot with a wonderful girl named Julie. We had the pleasure of attending their reception this past weekend at Magnolia Plantation . We also had a chance to catch up with our good friends Shane & Hannah Ford. We sure have missed them.

Hoppy Easter!

This Easter Wes and I traveled up to North Carolina to visit his family, it was Thanksgiving the last time we were up there. Boy, our nieces are growing up so fast. Little Miss Ella Drew (17 months) is walking and talking...you just can't understand her yet. :) As for Miss Maya Rae (6 months), she is doing very well, she can hold her head up like a pro and is eating ceral from a spoon. Before we know it she will be crawling. I had the opportunity to go to the Pediatrician with Cat and Maya as she was due for her four month shots, since she missed them due to being in the hopital. Yuck!! Cat and I turned our heads like we were getting the shots. Besides the shots, it was neat to see how it all works since I'll be there soon with Malia. On Saturday we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at church, it was too funny watching the 1-3 year olds run after eggs. On Easter we had a feast, everything was excellent. I have a new favorite...Corn pudding. Sounds weird, but it was really good!! It was sad to leave because it's always so relaxing, but we get to go back at the end of April for our next baby shower. Yippee!

Malia's Beautiful Nursery

We finally have reached the best part of pregnancy....decorating the nursery. We decided to go with my favorite colors and found them all in the "Secret Garden" bedding. The best part of our nursery is our bedding matched our painted walls, so Wes got lucky and doesn't have to repaint. A few weeks ago Wes and I decided to have craft night in which we decorated her letters that go above her crib, we had a BLAST. Last weekend Wes and his father worked really hard on the bead board and crown molding, it looks amazing. It has been a blast thus far and just continues to get better each day. As we move forward and things progress I will continue to add more pictures. Enjoy the ones we have thus far.

Our 1st Baby Shower

We had our first baby shower last weekend, it was coed and a lot of fun thanks to Meredith & Courtney. We had great food, fun activities, great fellowship, and wonderful gifts for Malia. She is already one Blessed little girl, her closet is almost as full as mine. :) If this shower is anything like the rest we're planning on having, we are in for a lot of fun! Thanks to all of those that came, Wes and I are Blessed to have such great friends.
