5 Years of Wonderful Marital Bliss!!

Wow, we cannot believe it has already been 5 years that we have been married. It seems like we should just be celebrating our 3 year anniversary. We discussed what has been the best thing we have done over the last 5 years, we both said being parents. It still seems so surreal that we have a 2 1/2 year old and another one on the way. We both feel so blessed!! We have truly enjoyed the last 5 years and are excited to see what the next 5 have in store for us.

It just so happened that Wes won a 5-day Cruise on the Carnival Fantasy to the Bahamas and it fell within a week of our anniversary. So we decided to use that as our big celebration trip! We left Malia home with Gramme and set off to sea from Charleston. It was a wonderful trip and we had a ton of fun. As for our actual anniversary weekend...we had a very busy weekend. I woke up Friday morning to wonderful Biscuits & Gravy breakfast, and then received beautiful flowers and such a sweet tear-jerker card at work. And later that evening we had our church small group. Then on Saturday, we attended a Citadel College Football game. One of Wes' Reps has a suite and invites us each year. It is a lot of fun and the food is wonderful! This year Malia made it on the huge jumbo-tron, which was really exciting. After the game, we ditched Malia with Gramme and we went out to the Movies and saw "The Town", wow what an awesome movie. Afterwards, we went to Carrabas and enjoyed some appetizers. All in all, it was a relaxing fun anniversary weekend!!
