Me at 9 Months...WOW!

9 Months Pregnant (36 weeks)

My girlfriends and I joke that just when you think your stomach can not possibly expand any more, it does. It's amazing that I don't just fall over forwards or backwards. We are most definitely on the home stretch now, we have a little less than 3 weeks until the doctor induces me. We are still praying for a healthy baby, but in addition that I start to dilate so if she doesn't come on her own, than she'll most certainly be here on June 12th. It would be nice if God would go ahead and let Wes and I know her birthday since He already knows, but I guess that would take the fun out of it. We are putting the finishing touches on the nursery as we speak, once it's done I'll post some more pictures. As for me, I am doing really well for being 9 months pregnant. The only thing is getting use to waking up several times during the night. That's another thing, why didn't God think it through and put our bladders some where else in our bodies. :) With that said, I am very blessed in that my pregnancy has been wonderful! We are very eager to meet Miss Malia in person.

Our Last Baby Shower

I am sad to say that my baby showers have come to an end. However, I must say we have been very Blessed in that we received a lot of wonderful gifts and had a ton of fun celebrating this time with our friends and families. We can't wait until our precious little girl is here on earth and can meet everyone. I hope she'll realize how loved she truly is. Wes and I are so grateful to have awesome friends and families like you all.
Thank you to Traci for opening up your home and putting together the great decorations, thank you to Missy for the fun games, and thank you Nicole for the wonderful food. I had a blast with all of you that came to the shower. It's always fun when us girls get together! I guess now that the showers are over, we get to anticipate and focus on Miss Malia's arrival. Hurray!!
Keep us in your prayers as our last month winds down.

My School Baby Shower

First I must thank all of my RATS (Related Arts Teachers) for throwing a wonderful and fun shower. The decorations were creative, food was yummy, and of course the entertainment was awesome. Not only did I receive more great gifts, but I made $20 too...thanks Nick! I can't wait for Malia to meet all of the wonderful people I work with. Even though some of you are leaving us next year, I hope you'll still stay in touch. Thanks again for a great shower!!
